Part of Horrorfest Helsinki's Summerween festival, we are arranging a horror sales event at Tapanilan työväentalo on Jul 26th 2024 from 4 PM to 8 PM. The event is a combination of fleamarket-, artesan and business sale.
Horrorfest represents at the event with three different theme tables: Biohazard zombie kiosk (advertises this year's main event), Beetlejuice kiosk and neon/light kiosk (advertises the second theme of the year).
The sales event inherits other program as well:
-Mini outside escape game Forest, designed by Ratkaisuverstas Oy (you can get the instructions to play inside)
-Harrastusseura Revontuli ry's horror accesory workshop

Horror accessory workshop
Come and customize an old accessory or garment to make it horror-themed or create something completely new! The horror accessory workshop runs throughout the event without a separate material fee. The workshop is suitable for beginners as well as more experienced crafts enthusiasts. We also accept material donations if there is something in your corners suitable for horror crafting! The workshop is held by Harrastusseura Revontuli's Horror and Fashion clubs.
Escape room show:
Our events often have escape rooms, this time the walls are taken down and the crowd gets a peek inside. Three shows, three groups which each will solve the game in their own way.
Miia Jalava, who's last Horrorfest escape room was IT themed room in Overlook Hotel - Stephen King event, has designed a room that takes place this time, in a restaurant. And here is the plot:
Jonna has been seen last time in a restaurant and her friends have decided to find out, what happened to Jonna. They have discovered that, that the fancy restaurant is closed on mondays and that the owner lives upstairs. On mondays he is always preparing for the next week and takes his lunch break in a nearby café. This is the only moment to sort out Jonna's disappearance.
The half hour long escape room show will play:
4.15 PM to 4.45 PM
5 PM to 5.30 PM
5.45 PM to 6.15 PM
One group takes maximum of eight people. The games are played in finnish, but will be translated to english too if necessary.

Tickets to the sales event are 10 €, tables 20 € for business and artesan sellers, 10 € for flea market participants (if you take a table from the event you don't need to pay the entrance fee and the tables are at the venue), you can sign up for the event by emailing This email address is being protected from spambots. Accessibility information: Työväentalo is in one, consistent ground floor. The building does not have a disabled toilet. The entrance has small tresholds and a low, stairless floor platform.
