Compliance and Safety: Visitors and staff must abide by these event rules for the general comfort and safety of the convention. Finnish law is observed on the event premises. Security personnel (Järjestyksenvalvoja) have the right to remove any persons causing a disturbance at the venue.
Zero Discrimination: Pörröcon is a non-discriminatory area. Please be considerate of others and follow the instructions given by the staff. Behave kindly towards other visitors and staff.
Keep Passageways Clear: Keep routes open for everyone; do not block the way, sit on the stairs and gather in groups to chat in front of doorways. There is plenty of room for hanging out elsewhere!
Substance-Free Venue: The venue is substance-free. The use of alcohol and illegal drugs is prohibited. Do not smoke near the entrance doors or indoors.
Weapons and Imitations: For safety reasons, bringing all types of weapons and weapon replicas to the venue is not allowed. Due to the current global political state, authentic-looking modern military-style clothing and political insignia are strictly prohibited. This is to be considerate of visitors who may be affected by the current events.
Photography: Photography is allowed in the venue. When photographing a specific person through, it is courteous to ask for permission and mention where you might publish the photo. Photography in the Fursuit Lounge is discouraged, as it is a rest area for fursuiters.
Responsibility for Damages: Act responsibly. You are liable to compensate the venue, vendors, or other visitors for any material damages you cause.
Cleanliness: Put trash in the bins and help keep the venue clean and pleasant.
Report The Issues When They Arise: Inform the staff about any problems or shortcomings you observe, such as run-out paper towels, a spilled drink on the floor, or someone's disruptive behavior.
Pets: Bringing pets to Pörröcon is not allowed. This is to consider the animals' well-being and potentially visitors’ allergies. Guide and assistance dogs are welcome - please give working dogs space and peace to perform their duties.
Removal from Event: Security personnel have the right to deny entry to the venue and, if necessary, remove individuals who do not comply with these rules, Finnish law, or otherwise cause a disturbance. Tickets for removed individuals will not be refunded.
Theft: Theft cases will be reported to the authorities, should any of them occur.
Safety Measures: Take care of your own and others' safety. Nothing may be hung over the railing on the second floor, and climbing on the railings is not allowed.
